Our collaboration with international aerospace, defence and security organisations creates joint value and provides a dynamic service within the UK defence ecosystem. By working at the cutting edge of science and technology, we can exploit new technologies that optimise performance and capabilities on the military front line.

Alongside our partnerships with ICT vendors and academic organisations, we encourage end-user participation to identify and resolve technical capability gaps. This communicative process enables us to de-risk, design and develop scalable ICT services across defence and government.

We collaborate with:

Crown Commercial Services is a framework for the procurement of goods and services for the public sector. Managed by CCS, it is for public sector bodies to tender goods and services above a certain price from approved suppliers.

The main procurement route for Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S), and other Ministry of Defence departments, to source engineering services for the defence sector. The EDP framework is managed by Aurora Engineering Partnership consisting of QinetiQ, Atkins and BMT.

The Analysis for Science and Technology Research in Defence (ASTRID) framework is the UK government to tender contracts for research development in the areas of defence, security, safety, and resilience. The framework is run by Dstl and will be running until March 2027.

Digital and IT Professional Services (DIPS) will be a multi-lot framework that will utilise several selected suppliers against a wide range of capability and experience, with the aim of providing digital services to the Ministry of Defence.

The Serapis framework provides a direct route for Dstl, the Ministry of Defence, and the frontline commands to place contracts for scientific and technical research and development. The Serapis framework is split into 6 Lots across the areas of C4ISR, space, simulation, and virtual reality.

The Accelerated Capability Environment (ACE) framework is to help solve digital challenges arising in the public sector. ACE brings together academic and industry collaborators with the aim to discover new ways of improving public safety and security.
