ITSUS Consulting were thrilled to receive the Employment Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award.
Earlier this year in June, Dr Shahid Mian and Richard John attended the ERS Silver award ceremony at Cardiff’s Pierhead Building.
In 2021 ITSUS Consulting signed the Armed Forces Covenant, and shortly after received the Bronze ERS award, demonstrating commitment to our Forces. To achieve Silver, organisations must proactively demonstrate that the Armed Forces community are not unfairly disadvantaged as part of their recruitment policies, and ensure their workforce is aware of their positive policies towards Defence people issues for Reservists, Veterans, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers, and spouses and partners of those serving in the Armed Forces.
ITSUS was founded with the goal of providing more flexible and innovative services to the defence industry, while improving UK SQEP through investing in our people and the communities around us. Passionate about developing people and helping them reach their potential, we are deeply focussed on building strong relationships with partners and customers, as well as providing meaningful support to the communities they are a part of. Committing to the Armed Forces Covenant, and the subsequent process of obtaining the ERS Silver award, has provided us with the opportunity to explore areas where we can further our support of the Armed Forces Family and help make a difference in defence.
Richard John, Royal Navy Veteran & Reservist:
“As a Royal Navy Veteran who transferred to the Royal Navy Reserves, ITSUS support to me both as a veteran transitioning to civilian life and as a reservist has been fantastic.
The recognition of skills developed in Military life by ITSUS has been instrumental in overcoming lack of qualifications in progression within the company.
As a Reservist ITSUS Reservist policy ensures that flexible working and additional leave are provided for reservist commitments, without which it is doubtful I would be able to continue to serve within the Royal Navy Reserve.”
